“This life is what you make it. Not matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they’ll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they’re your true best friends. Don’t let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they’ll come and go too. And babe, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can’t give up because if you give up, you’ll never find your soul mate. You’ll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”—Marilyn Monroe
I am writing this because I want to acknowledge them as a whole. Chinese girls have enough representatives, there are like billions. Japanese/Korean, every guy is always on a japanese/korean girls jock. Filipinos I already wrote about them. The French Indochina girls never get any attention.
Viet girls I empathize with you greatly. You have always been mistaken for Chinese/Korean/Filipino/Japanese, when you are really Vietnamese. You girls are the ones we notice. Yall always have the flyest nails, not be stereotypical but hey is it true? HAHA. Dont lie. But you girls are some of the strongest sophisticated girls out there.
Back in the days the French occupied Vietnam. They helped change the language and added english characters to your writing, They also brought their aristocracy to you. So Inherently the females of Viet descent are crafted from the finer things in life. Class and sophistication are in a Viet girls blood. Thats why most Viet girls hate school because they dont need it if they have class. And there are reasons why most Viet girls are quiet. Its because they dont need to bring themselves to that level. They know whats up and how to deal with things accordingly. And the Loud Viet girls know what they want and will get their way because they know they deserve it.
Also, even in their last names. They share it with the Emperors, thats why they are all the same. Because the Viet girls are not of different classes, they are all royalty and should be treated as such. Sophistication/Aristocracy/Royalty. Thats whats in their blood.
So to all the: Tran / Nguyen / Pham / Le / Ngo / Vo / Huynh / Phan / Dang and many more. You are appreciated, even though people dont get you, who cares. DU MA to them =). HAHA.
Love is unexpected. We spend most of our lives waiting for it’s arrival and searching for it in the likely of places. Regardless, love finds its way of surprisal. And when you do find that thing you’ve always been waiting for you know. It’s not a question of “Am I in love?” it’s a sure knowledge that what you feel is unlike any other human emotion. It’s once in a lifetime, it’s unique. Some people believe love is angry, and that if you aren’t screaming in fits of passion then you aren’t madly in love. Others like to shut out the idea of romantic fairytale love in order to save themselves from disappointment, or to make themselves feel better about their stable yet bland relationship. And some have simply lost hope. Through several broken hearts and let downs they convince themselves that the love they always imagined doesn’t exist. And they’re right. It doesn’t. Because when you do fall in love it will exceed even your greatest expectations. No love is perfect, but for the first time in your life you will know. You will know you’re not settling for something logical or talking yourself into why you should want someone. Your heart mind body and soul will achieve it’s true potential by unconditionally moving for someone else other than yourself.
Love is whatever you make it to be. But in my opinion, love can never truly be understood… unless your heart experiences it.
